How much freezer space will I need?

A good rule of thumb is 1 cubic foot of freezer space for every 35-40 lbs of meat.

1/8 (~65#) about 2 cubic feet

1/4(~125#) about 4 cubic feet

1/2 (~250#) about 8 cubic feet

Whole(~500#)about 16 cubic feet

How do I know what cuts I can get?

How long after placing an order for a “Share” of beef can I expect to have my beef in my freezer?

Buying beef by the share ( 1/8,1/4,1/2, or whole) means that you are buying a portion of a whole beef. With that, you generally have to wait until we have a whole beef sold and a beef ready. We have beef available year round, so it usually takes somewhere from 2-5 months to get to your freezer. If you want to speed things up, find some friends or family that are interested to get a whole beef put together yourself!
